First or next stop – Seligman– if you feel like returning to the 50s, here is your chance. But don’t get fooled by the small town hype. It is rather one street in a very 50s western style – which is absolutely awesome I may add. If you need some souvenirs here is the time and place to do so. If you are going to Las Vegas like us it is worth stopping here as it does not take too much time to take a look around but it is worth it.
It is still a long way to go and much to see so off we go again. So know that it turned into a travel adviser blog let us continue to our next stop on our way – Kingman. Not Kingsman, no secret service as far as I could tell but than again who knows. 😀
Kingman is definitely a bigger town than our previous stop. If you have some more time on your trip go and see the Kingman Railroad Museum!
But if you ever feel clueless and decide to make a random stop somewhere which was not planned. Not to worry. Just go to the local tourist information. Everyone is so kind and helpful and they will give you all the clues that suit your interest.
Oh and by the way if you feel the need the need for car sign that is go and get one in either Seligman or Kingman, prices are not to bad and you got them from some awesome historic places. (Did you see what i did there? car and speed 🙂 Anywho – moving on.
Time was not our best friend on our way – could have easily spend more time here but off we have to go to keep our Route in check. So bye bye butterfly and hello Hoover Dam.
Hoover Dam – on the border between Nevada and Arizona.
Fun Fact: Originally known as Boulder Dam.
Another U.S National historic Landmark which is breath taking and absolutely worth visiting. There is not much to say about this beautiful Landmark. Well at least I can’t say much about it. I am just one more time speechless. If you are going to Las Vegas, just go and see the Hoover Dam. It is not far at all and you WILL regret not going.
Las Vegas. Will be up next. I promise. So have a look out for it. 🙂
